📌 What Has Changed?
Previously, you could initiate the hire process from the Position Org Chart, but you had to manually fill all fields from scratch—even though the whole point of accessing the Position Org Chart was to hire into a specific position.
With the new enhancement, you can now:
✅ Click on a vacant position
✅ Open the Actions Menu
✅ Select “Add New Employee to This Position”
From there, the system will automatically:
- Prefill the Position and Company fields (these are now read-only to ensure data consistency)
- Use the date selected in the Position Org Chart as the default hire date
🔔 Tip: Make sure to adjust the desired hire date before using this functionality, as it gets auto-populated based on the date in the Org Chart.
